In the first examination we choose about 40 pieces of winning works each section.
In the second examination, we choose 4 or 5 finalists out of the 40 each section
The finalists make the formative articles or prototypes for the final examination.
From 2004, all finalists are invited to Japan for presentation with the formative articles or prototypes at the final examination.
In the final examination, we choose one gold prize and one silver prize each section.
Grand prix is chosen from the gold prize-winnig works.

Grand Prix:
1 award 1,000,000yen in prize money

Gold Prize:
4 awards 250,000yen in prize money

Silver Prize:
5 awards 100,000yen in prize money

Special Prize:
10 awards 50,000yen in prize money

Winning Entries:
Approx 200 awards
